Dr. Sammika Cosey is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and educational consultant specializing in behavior systems, educator training, and organizational support.
With over 20 years of experience in education, behavior support, and community engagement, Dr. Cosey combines evidence-based behavioral strategies with practical, real-world solutions that empower individuals, strengthen teams, and build environments where people can thrive.
Her unique professional journey began in education, where she developed a passion for helping children reach their fullest potential. This passion led her to pursue advanced training in behavior analysis, earning her BCBA certification in 2019. Since then, she has worked across home, school, clinic, daycare, community, and telehealth settings, supporting individuals with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
Today, Dr. Cosey partners with schools, districts, community organizations, healthcare providers, and families to implement proactive behavior systems, improve staff confidence, support student success, and foster positive learning environments.
My Approach
I believe behavior is communication. When we understand the function of behavior, we can move beyond simply reacting to challenges and begin creating meaningful, lasting change. As an author and speaker, she is passionate about helping others understand behavior, build systems, and create meaningful change in their communities.
